The Canterbury Forum: A Home for Everyone

May 18 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

The Canterbury Forum, an ecumenical, progressive faith project on Oregon’s Central Coast, will focus on A Home For Everyone, Eugene’s plan for sheltering the unsheltered.  The presenter is John Ruiz, Eugene’s City Manager.  Mr. Ruiz will discuss Eugene & Lane County’s implementation of a comprehensive new plan to shelter the chronically unhoused.  The forum will bring together Lincoln County civic authorities, housing activists and service providers to learn about Eugene’s new plan and consider the programs and services for the unsheltered here on the Central Coast.

The free, public Forum will be held on Saturday, May 18th, starting at 1:30 pm, at St. Stephen Episcopal Church, 414 SW Ninth Street, in Newport.
