Siletz River Clean Up

Join Siletz Watershed Council, MidCoast Watersheds Council, and partners for a day on the water removing trash during the Annual Siletz River Clean Up on Saturday, May 11th, 9 AM to 2 PM, Hee Hee Illahe Park, Siletz.

The Siletz River Watershed drains a total area of 197,120 acres. The cities of Siletz, Toledo, Newport, and Seal Rock all obtain water from this system. In addition, the river supports vulnerable populations of coho salmon, summer steelhead, and spring chinook, as well as winter steelhead, fall chinook, chum, and cutthroat and rainbow trout, and is a popular recreational fishing destination.
