North County Immigration Forum

June 15, 2019 @ 1:30 am - 4:00 am

After a very successful forum on the economic and societal impact of immigration on Lincoln County held in Newport last March, there will now be two more forums to facilitate residents in South and North Lincoln County. The events are open to the public and will provide a comfortable and safe venue for open discussion.

The date, time and location for North County is:

Friday June 14th, at 6:30PM Lincoln City Community Center, 2150 NE Oar Place, in Lincoln City.

Panel members include: Pastor Bob Barrett, Sheriff Curtis Landers, Pastor Angel Torres, Katie Moss (an activist and volunteer from Yamhill County), Virginia Gibbs who serves on the Board of Directors for Centro de Ayuda, and Omar Hernandez, also of Centro de Ayuda.

Interpretation will be provided.

This event is sponsored by KYAQ Radio, the National Organization of Women NOW, and the Yachats Community Presbyterian Church.
