How will we balance our water needs? – A panel discussion at Hatfield Marine Science Center

June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, June 14      6:00-8:30pm
Hatfield Marine Science Center – Visitor Center Auditorium

We all need water. It’s one thing we have in common – but on the Mid-Coast we don’t have as much of it as you might think, especially during the summer. Join us for a diverse panel of water interests who are asking the question: How can we meet the water needs of our rivers, our communities, and the economy now and into the future? The panel discussion will be followed by interactive exhibits where you can learn more about water quantity, water quality, ecology, and infrastructure on the Mid-Coast from Cascade Head to Cape Perpetua.

When: Thursday, June 14th from 6:00-8:30pm (doors at 5:30pm)
Where: Hatfield Marine Science Center – Visitor Center Auditorium
Who: Anyone interested in water!
Why: Water is important to people, businesses, and nature and we need to make sure there’s enough water to meet all of our needs.

This event is co-organized by the Mid-Coast Water Planning Partnership, Surfrider, Hatfield Marine Science Center, City of Newport, and the Oregon Water Resources Department
